1971 32' Douglas Sloop

This [removed phone] Douglas Sloop is located in the Rhode Island, Mass area,
and has recently been upgraded by her current owner. New lifelines and refinishing of the interior brings this classic sailboat to a new level of appearance.
 
This vessel is designed by Ted Brewer and built by North American Fiberglass Moulding, LTD. in 1971; they are a popular and well thought of boat that have a reputation of being well built and nicely finished.
 
She has a full keel, displacement hull that is in good condition and all deck hardware, lifelines, and pulpits are in good order
 
The boat is powered by a Westerbeke four (4) cylinder, inboard diesel engine rated at approximately 30 horsepower. The engine is fresh water cooled.and has only 1900 hours on it. The engine turns a 1 stainless steel shaft through a reduction gear terminating in a bronze 12 diameter right handed three (3) bladed propeller.
 
The vessels primary electrical system is twelve (12) volt DC and is supplied by three (3) gel cell sealed twelve (12) volt DC batteries and a belt driven engine alternator. The vessel is also fitted with a 120 volt AC dockside electrical system which serves outlets & battery charger.
